Plans are progressing for a new housing development on the site of a former school.
Work to demolish Park Road School in Douglas started earlier this week and is expected to take 12 weeks.
As such the two-acre site has been signed over to the Department of Social Care which plans to build a mix of affordable housing including first time buyer and sheltered properties.
Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw says a range of options are being discussed:
